Ironing fit
Me and my partner, who I’ll call Ron to protect his identity, are on a get fit regime. (I still get to eat the chocolate, because that’s within the definition of eating healthily.)
In addition to the walking we did at the weekend, we are starting the XBX plan. I’m starting at the lowest level - I’m still doing the 5 Tibetan Rites every morning. By most people’s standards it’s pretty easy, but I’m not taking any risks at this stage.
The plan is to be fit enough for a summer holiday in the Alps. Ideally I’d like to be scaling glaciers and climbing mountains, but at the least I intend to be hiking at least every other day.
